What to do with 3000+ Charr Carvings
Well I hope this thread is in the correct spot. If it is not thanks to the moderators that moved this. Thank you.
Now, I am not asking for a price check or the value of the charr carvings but rather what i should do with 12+ stacks of them that I have been collecting over the last month for the upcoming festival. I am not going to be giving these away so helpful comments pleas. What I need help with is getting the most value out of the carvings. As my minds eye sees things for every 3 stack of carvings that I trade to the collector I can get 1 full stack of a festival item. I have intentionally collected 3000 of them so that they will equal tier one of a title - drunken as you need 3 more to activate the drunken minutes. Now to my question. What title points goodies should I get from the trader? Should I do this before or should I just spam the trade bar saying 250 whatever points 30K? Or Tier ONE of (Enter random name here) 100K+ 10 Ectos?? As you can tell I am pumped as I will finally get some gold out of this festival and then start again for Wintersday. |

Hmm, as far as I can tell it's good to start off with drunkard since that takes too long.
And imho, use them yourself, because the money you get from selling goes out way too fast again .. |

Thanks for the responses so far. I am going to trade the carvings and not keep them. I need the gold and that is why I was farming them in the first place and has been my intent all along. Thanks for suggesting that I keep them and use them. It would be and cheep way to get a maxed title but I would need a year farming carvings to get enough and that would be silly.
Are there more people out there getting the drunkard title than the sweet tooth or the other titles? |

I would say to get Sweet Tooth or Party Animal will be the easiest for you to sell.
Because these titles can be done straight away, and people will pay you for them, alcohol takes a while to use, and people cant be bothered to get the title as much as the other 2. Hope that makes sense. Gaw |

To be honest, you will get more gp's by trading them and selling the alcohol/sweets.
If you go round charging 10K for a stack of carvings you are going to have NO buyers. Even now in pre there are sellers asking less than 5K for a stack. So asking for 10K is just bad, and just looks so wrong. Just trade the carvings, you'll get 100gp per point (or even more if you're particularly mercenary). |

I agree with Anon-e-mouse. you'll get more for selling the alcohol/sweets than you will for the carvings themselves. Most people I've seen over the years will pay 20 - 30gp per carving, while alcohol/party items sell for 100-125g per point.

The best way to get the most out of them as far as gold goes is to trade them to collectors during events and sell what you trade to players. I had a stack of carvings and traded 3 for one party item - turned around and sold item for 150-200 gold. Made about 50k during an event.
Halloween is just around the corner. |

What is this, Anon-E-Mouse you speak of?
Be careful you don't accidently your stacks of Charr Carvings. Turn them into Sweet Tooth items, and Goo Sugar Rush Goo. |

Well that is exactly what I saw at the last festival so I thought that I would give her a go as it were in regards to farming the carvings. I know that 3 carvings = 1 item from the collector and that I could sell that one item for 100-125 gold.
So the Value of a charr carving is 1/3 of said item or atleast 33 gold each. However, good luck trying to convince anyone that a charr carving has a value of 33 gold or 8,250 -10,417 gold at either 100 or 125 gold per point title point. Oddly enough if I had Sup Charr Carvinghs they are selling for 100 god each and they can be traded for 1/1. Hopefully I can get 125K from all of my carvings so that get some of the good stuff like the Sup Health Rune. At 20K that will eat up my funds rather fast or getting a mini gwen to go with my prince |

Party Animal -> Sweet Tooth -> Drunkard, in that order, I'd say. There are more options open for getting Sweets than Party Items, and both of those are easier to consume than Drinks, so Party Animal may be your best bet.

And what happens if they change the collector items to something else for the events?
